Main tasks:

1. Directs the activities of the cultural and mass work of the Palace of Students.

2. Organizes the implementation of creative, methodological, cultural and mass work, ensures the preparation and holding of screenings and festivals, folk art competitions, seminars of amateur art leaders.

3. Exercises control over the activities of artistic groups.

4. Attracts qualified specialists to develop methodological manuals, scripts, create a repertoire, review these materials and provide creative assistance to art groups.

5. Creates conditions for professional development, encourages and stimulates the creative initiative of employees.

6. Monitors compliance by employees of the organization with production and labor discipline, safety and labor protection requirements, fire safety requirements.

7. Provides methodological assistance to institutes in conducting cultural events.

8. Provides the content and high artistic level of the event.

9. Plans and monitors the implementation of the plan of creative, methodical and cultural work of the Palace of Students.

10. Promotes high-level events.

11. Introduces control and provision of appropriate conditions for creative groups.

12. Monitors compliance with industrial and labor, technical rules, rules for compliance with labor protection and fire safety of employees.

13. Performs the work and assignments assigned by the Department for Social and Educational Work.

14. Working to increase the share of events among university students with young people with a penchant for various areas: discussion, fun starts, music, choreography, traditional art, etc., together with the Department of Social and Educational Work.

15. Ensures a high level of activities in accordance with the approved work plan.

16. Participates in the demand for the needs of university students in cultural events.

17. Ensures that the annual work plan changes depending on the needs of university students.

18. Organizes the provision of musical installations and other technical means necessary for the organization of events of various directions.

19. Organizes preparatory work for a pre-established deadline during the organization of events.

20. Organizes the placement of information materials about the achievements and technical capabilities of the Palace of Students on the official Internet resource of the University, in social networks.

21. Makes suggestions to the university management about the equipment and necessity of the Students' Palace with the latest technical equipment.

22. Organizes the safety of the external and internal property of the Palace of Students and the cleanliness of the building.

23. Organizes the safety of the property located in the building in accordance with the current property legislation.

Main functions:

1. This job description defines the functional duties, rights and responsibilities of the Director of the Palace of Students of the NJSC "Korkyt Ata Kyzylorda University" (hereinafter – the Director of the Palace of Students).

2. The Director of the Palace of Students is accepted and dismissed by the order of the Chairman of the Board-the Rector of the University.

3. In his activities, the Director of the Palace of Students is accountable and subordinate to the Vice-Rector for Social and Educational Work.

4. The Director of the Palace of Students in his work is guided by:

- The Constitution of the Republic of Kazakhstan;

- The Law of the Republic of Kazakhstan "On Education";

- Resolutions of the Government of the Republic of Kazakhstan regulating the educational sphere;

- Regulatory legal acts of the Ministry of Education and Science of the Republic of Kazakhstan;

- The Charter of the University;

- Orders and orders of the university management;

- Regulations on the Palace of Students;

- This job description.

5. This job description is reviewed when changing the functions or tasks assigned to the Director of the Palace of Students.
